There are times when a breastfeeding parent needs support and encouragement from someone who has successfully breastfed their own baby. We encourage parents who want to breastfeed to connect with other breastfeeding parents through a local La Leche League Group. Breastfeeding is an intensely personal experience, and a connection with other breastfeeding parents provides more individual support and encouragement than an online discussion forum.

Personal help.
If you have questions about breastfeeding, whether before your baby's birth, during the first few days, or later, help is available via phone counseling and email.

Group meetings.

All pregnant people and nursing parents are invited to participate in our informal monthly meetings. Establishing a network of support in your decision to breastfeed your baby is an important element of successful breastfeeding. Babies are always welcome at La Leche League meetings!

Who Are We?

What Do We Do?

Our Mission is to help parents worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and parent.

La Leche League Leaders are experienced breastfeeding parents who have been trained and accredited by La Leche League International to help with all aspects of breastfeeding.
